Irreplaceable pieces are given a new life with a thoughtful restoration and can last for another generation. A traditional approach, respect for the history of the pieces, and sustainability are central to our approach.







The original Napoleon III sewing table with its beautiful marquetry had become rather wobbly after years of neglect. A complete restoration, replacement of missing pieces, and the appropriate period finishing restored it to its former glory.

An 18th-century Italian pantry was in need of some TLC. A complete disassembly allowed for the meticulously executed historical repairs. A Shellac finish brought the beautiful flamed mahogany back to life. Meanwhile, the piece has rediscovered its original purpose in a warm interior.














A story of enthusiastic children and an irreplaceable keepsake... This wooden horse arrived at the workshop in three pieces, and quite a bit of creative gluing was required to get it back in top condition. The photos show the various steps of the restoration.
